Fluoride Treatments

Fluoride is a mineral that helps strengthen enamel and prevent tooth decay. At our family dentistry practice, we offer fluoride treatments to help protect our patients' teeth from cavities.
During a fluoride treatment, our dental professionals will apply a concentrated fluoride gel or foam to your teeth. This helps to strengthen the enamel and make it more resistant to acid attacks from bacteria in your mouth.

Fluoride treatments are especially important for children, as their developing teeth are more susceptible to decay. However, adults can also benefit from fluoride treatments as well.

That being said, we know there is currently a lot of debate going on as to the safety and efficacy of fluoride treatments. We respect your family's decision on whether or not to receive fluoride treatment, and we are happy to talk through the pros and cons of treatment so you can make the best decision for yourself and your family during your regularly scheduled teeth cleaning or oral exam.
