What to Expect After Whitening
Whitening Continues After Treatment
Your teeth may continue to whiten for 24–48 hours after your in-office session, enhancing your final results even after you leave the clinic.
Sensitivity Is Normal and Manageable
Some patients may experience temporary sensitivity after whitening. This is common and usually fades quickly.
If needed, we may recommend:
- Opalescence™ Whitening Toothpaste (Sensitivity Relief)
- UltraEZ™ desensitizing gel
Small white or sensitive spots on the gums may appear briefly after treatment and usually disappear within 20–30 minutes. Over-the-counter pain relief or vitamin E oil may help if needed.
