Dr. John Fullington
Dr. John Fullington, DDS opened Redeemed Smiles in 2023 with a vision of providing compassionate, integrity-driven dental care centered on long-term health and patient trust. After serving as a Dental Officer in the United States Navy and working in leading dental practices across the country, Dr. Fullington felt called to create a different kind of dental experience — one focused on honesty, minimally invasive treatment whenever possible, and caring for patients as people, not numbers.
From general family dentistry to advanced dental implants and smile restoration, Dr. Fullington is committed to serving the Yukon community with thoughtful, patient-centered care rooted in compassion, excellence, and Christian values.

We work with most insurance companies to get you the treatment you need. For those without dental insurance, we offer flexible payment options as well as our own in-house membership plan to keep costs as low as possible.
**We accept Medicaid for extractions and dentures only. We do not offer cleanings, filings, or routine care under Medicaid. For dental needs outside full mouth extractions and dentures, we recommend Medicaid patients find a provider who accepts Medicaid for general dentistry.

A Minimally Invasive Dentistry Approach
Unlike traditional dental practices that may resort to aggressive treatments that involve unnecessary removal of healthy tooth structure, our dental philosophy is to be minimally invasive and focus on preserving as much of your natural teeth as possible. By doing so, we aim to minimize discomfort, reduce healing time, and enhance the overall longevity of your teeth.
"Many dentists do more damage to patients by trying to drill a hole in every tooth as opposed to just letting certain teeth re-mineralize (ie heal on their own). There is something called starting the restorative cycle which just means that if you drill a hole in a tooth, you are guaranteeing that you will have to drill on that same tooth within 5-7 years (because our man-made materials fail) and it will be a bigger filling when you do the new filling because you have to remove the old filling and bond to fresh enamel. Often times if we just watch the area for a while before punching a hole in it with a filling, sometimes the area will literally remineralize and heal on its own in a non-invasive way."
